The latest Eilers-Fantini report has revealed that IGT’s Cash Eruption slot finished first in the top games by gross gaming revenue (GGR) charts for July, with 3.19% of GGR share.
The report, which measures online casino statistics across North America, also reveals that while IGT remains the top supplier in Canada for the second consecutive month, Evolution has resumed its position as the top supplier in the U.S.
Cash Eruption’s 3.19% GGR share marks a 0.17% increase from June, where it also held the no. 1 spot with 3.02%.
IGT’s Blackjack game held 1.90% of GGR share in June and had maintained its second-place spot for four consecutive months. However, July saw the game drop down to third place with 1.51% of the GGR share.
IGT itself also dropped to third place on the U.S. supplier chart, with its GGR total dropping from 18.3% to 17.4%. This comes just one month after IGT overtook Evolution for the top position in June.
However, IGT remains at the top of the Canadian charts, as reported by Eilers & Krejcik. Not only does it maintain its position as the top supplier with 18.29% GGR, but it also takes the first and second positions on the top games chart. Cash Eruption sits in first place with a 1.98% share (up from 1.95% in June), while Cleopatra comes in second with 1.14%.
Others in the top 10
Aristocrat’s Buffalo slot (appearing under the name of its digital gaming division “Anaxi” in the June report) rose from third to second place in July. It holds 1.65% of the total GGR, which is slightly lower than its 1.68% hold in June.
Cash Eruption has 0.3% more GGR than both second-place Buffalo and third-place Blackjack combined.
IGT features a third time within the top 10 games for July: Cleopatra, its slot game with a 1.02% GGR share, sits in seventh place.
Four of Evolution’s live dealer titles also feature in July’s top 10 games, alongside Light & Wonder’s 88 Fortunes slot and AGS’ 3x Ultra Diamond slot.
IGT’s success in the Eilers-Fantini July report comes shortly after the company brought one of its most popular land-based machines to online players. Prosperity Link Wan Shi Ru Yi will debut under PlayDigital, IGT’s iGaming arm. The slot features 243 paylines across a 5×3 grid, with bets ranging from $0.88 to $88. Prosperity Link consistently ranks at the top of the Eilers-Fantini performance report for land-based slots.
